The “Salvatesta Peak” or rock of Novara di Sicilia is high 1340 m.slm; defined “Cervino of the Sicily” he is approachable by means of a stradella pedestrian that begins from road Mandrazzi the saddleback (state road 185). The laborious climb, necessary in order to reach the summit, is compensated by the breathtaking panorama that is enjoyed from lassù: from the Etna until the Aeolian islands.
